28th Annual FirstGlance Film Festival

FirstGlance Film Festival, Philadelphia’s longest-running competitive indie film festival, celebrates everything indie!
With projects from first-time student directors to directors with Netflix features, projects at Warner Bros. Pictures Animation, Tim Burton Productions, and Comedy Central, see films from indie filmmakers at all levels of their careers.
The weekend event includes 35 films of various genres including thrillers, comedies, sci-fi, horror, and more, and with a broad range of themes from coming-of-age and good vs. evil to self-acceptance and perseverance.
A fun way to get exposed to a diverse selection of film and festival culture, highlights of the weekend celebration include “Shot in Philly” films; filmmaker interviews on the red carpet; Q & As; parties and networking opportunities; and a live awards ceremony on closing night.
