Interchange: Works by 15 Artists with Disabilities

The IDEAL School of Manhattan is honored to partner with the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC, to host Interchange, a traveling exhibit of works by 15 artists with disabilities between the ages of 16 and 25. Interchange at IDEAL will be the only showing of this exhibit in New York City. Interchange will be on display at IDEAL from June 5-11, 2024.

Public Reception, Tuesday, June 11

On Tuesday, June 11, the school will host a wine and cheese reception from 6 to 7:30 PM to celebrate the Interchange exhibit before it heads to Washington for the next stop in its tour. Melina Ahmad, a Brooklyn artist whose piece, Fragmented Self Portrait, is in the show, will speak. Invitation link.

RSVP to interchange@theidealschool.org to see Interchange at its only NYC location, or to visit the exhibit during school hours. 

If you would like to visit the exhibit but cannot attend the reception, please email interchange@theidealschool.org to arrange a visit and tour. We welcome visits from school groups as well.
