Award Winning Author, Nikki A Lamers grew up in Wisconsin and lived in Florida for a few years before ending up on Long Island in New York where she now lives with her husband and their two dogs with both their kids off to college. She writes mostly spicy contemporary and new adult romance, many times incorporating tough health, wellness, and life issues. With her public health background, she loves diving deep into her characters and seeing how some of the tough issues can impact an individual, their relationships, and their choices.

Recently she has expanded her romance writing into romantic suspense, romantasy and paranormal romance, while maintaining her roots. Writing, reading, coffee, chocolate, and at times a good drink are all she needs alongside her friends and family. Since meeting her husband, they enjoy spending time in Maine and exploring different places, meeting new people, and always crafting her next story. For her other job she freelances as a script writer, advisor, and supervisor on and off set, hoping to one day see one of her own stories on screen.
