The Doxsee Legacy: Growing Up In a Fishing Family

Tues, June 25th, the Historical Society of Islip Hamlet and the Islip Public Library will host Bob Doxsee and his program, “The Doxsee Legacy: Growing Up In a Fishing Family”.  Bob will have a PowerPoint presentation combining pictures and anecdotes which highlight the family’s enterprise from the 1800’s to the 21st century.  The program will be held at the Islip Public Library, 71 Monell Ave., 7-9 pm and is free and open to the public.  For more info: www.isliphamlethistory.org, 631-559-2915.  Registration is required:  631-581-5933.
